A city of dreams where Asia and Europe, East and West come together… As a capital of east Roman and Otoman Empires, this city host annually millions of people. İstanbul is a true world city which has invited the different cultures and religions for centuries.
Defining İstanbul that has been ruled by 120 Kaisers and emperors, as the capital of three great civilizations, as well as the theme of many of many songs, poems and novels as a cultural mosaic is the best way. This historical city and the nestles the followers of three great religions presents the incredibly tasty synthesis of the old and the new or the east and the west to its lovers. İstanbul, the city of mosques, palaces, pavilions is also the city of “simit” sellers, street urchins and vagabonds. It silently enables them to breathe and taste this marvelous and fascinating harmony.
The rich and colorful cultural texture of İstanbul has no limits. A magnificent mixture comes out when the natural beauties of the city accompany to its historical monuments from the Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman periods. One cannot imagine on İstanbul trip without a traditional sea excursion to the upper parts of the strait that seperates Asia and Europe. The coasts reflecting the splendor and a pure beauty are the mixture of past and today. You may go to Poyrazköy, Riva, Şile, Ağva to enjoy the sea; or get let yourself to the quitness of nature in Kemerburgaz or Durusu. You may also spend a few lovely hours accompanied by sea and sun, if you go towards Kilyos. If you prefer the Blacksea cost, then the untouched magic of nature and sea will be waiting for you at Kıyıköy and İğneada, away from the chaos of the city life.
